Culture North - The story of New Zealand and the Treaty of Waitangi
Culture North Production is an evening show at the Treaty Grounds in the Bay of Islands. Culture North combines Maori culture, live drama, sound and lights. This evening show covers the story of the arrival of Kupe, the first Maori chief to discover New Zealand, through to the present day. You will enjoy history unfolding with the meeting of the two cultures and the signing of New Zealand’s founding document, the Treaty of Waitangi.
