The Paihia Pacific Resort boasts the
premier conference and function venue in the Bay of Islands. Perfect for the small
to mid-sized conference, our purpose-built conference room is on the ground floor,
and has easy vehicle access.
The Conference Room measures 13.60 x 14.50 metres, with a raised stage measuring
6.0 x 3.5 metres. The capacity of the room is approximately 80 with banquet-style
seating, and up to 150 with theatre style seating, but smaller groups of 30-50 also
fill out the space very nicely.
The room is
soundproof, air-conditioned/centrally heated, and is serviced by a nearby bar. The
conference room is ideal for events such as product launches, trade days, business
meetings, lectures, private functions, and special functions.
Audio-visual / presentation and communication equipment available includes a data
projector screen (4m x 3m), hi-fi stereo sound, microphones, and a controlled
lighting rig, as well as various whiteboards and blackboards, fax, photocopier, and
lectern. A dance floor is also available.
